Although LEDs are still considered relatively expensive, it is the longevity, power usage and reduction in electricity cost that makes it an attractive option.
Furthermore, LEDs do not contain mercury therefore eliminating any side effects and potential waste hazards compared to other lighting products.
Generally, APEX LEDs utilizes less than half the amount of electricity when compared with Fluorescent lamp, for example a 36W fluorescent tube can be replaced by a 18 W (or lesser) LED tube. These savings will extensively save on electricity cost and very quickly recover the higher upfront cost of LED lights.
